Like warts, papillomas are caused by papilloma virus.
Papillomas declare themselves in almost the same way as warts. Warty excrescences of pale rosy or intensive red color appear on mucous coats of genitals and adjacent skin areas. These excrescences either quickly grow in size and number, gradually taking the cauliflower appearance, or remain flat and unnoticeable.
The virus can transmit itself via direct contact between integuments of infected and non-infected person. Lesion of mucous coats of genitals appears as a result of sexual contact.
It is necessary to remove such papillomas because some benign tumors can regenerate into malignant ones.
However it is necessary to take into consideration that removal of papillomas (warts) does not guarantee the patient against their recurrent appearance. The patient remains the carrier of papilloma virus for several years. To prevent the disease the whole organism has to be sanitated. |
